Research

• Establish a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers to collaboratively focus on the advancement of CMR and CCT through research, education, and clinical imaging.
• Discover and develop new and innovative applications of CMR and CCT for the diagnosis and evaluation of patients with cardiovascular disease.
• Collaborate with intramural and extramural investigators to enhance basic and clinical research through cardiovascular imaging technology.
• Educate and train pre and post-doctoral fellows in medicine, engineering, and basic science disciplines.
• Work with industry to improve cardiovascular imaging technology.
• Translate basic, technical, and clinical research into improved patient care.
